CHICKENS HAVE LANDED.
Well the day is here and the chickens are taking over the Morganston House! We went and picked up our 25 meat birds today! They are so fluffy and cute… but as Brandon keeps reminding me… dont get attached Sam!! Ya ya ya…
Our Hens we are going to get in a couple more weeks… trying to focus on one flock at a time here haha. Look how cute they are!!
Levy is in full guard dog mode… or is he waiting for his next meal?? I hope he behaves!! Of course the day we pick them up its cold and snowy out… we hope they make it!! We will have to do night checks to make sure everyone is warm enough. These heat lamps are amazing though!! We got all of our equipment from our local Co-Op store!!
So what you guys think?? Think we can do it?? Keep these boys alive until end of summer!! Lets sure hope so!!
