Well first off – if you’re reading this that means the Blog has officially launched! Insert freak out mode here! You guys.. this has been a YEAR journey of preparing and researching how the heck to run a blog and I finally hit launch! It actually wasn’t all that scary to do.. and I’m excited to finally call myself a blogger. I hope you enjoy browsing through A&T and you leave just feeling a teeny amount inspired whether thats in your home, life or business life. Thats all I can ask for – I hope to inspire you just a wee little amount every time you visit A&T! Im so excited to take you on this journey with me! It just seemed fitting that my first ‘live’ blog post I talk about What I’m Most Excited for this Fall Season as we are faced with a new season as Summer takes her last final breaths into Fall. A time of new beginning and new energy! So lets do this!

I don’t know about you but I can already taste the pumpkin spice & feel that cool air come through our windows into The Morganston House. I hate to say it.. but this summer has been a hot one! Im looking forward to having a break from this heat allowing not only myself but our gardens, home and our energy levels to take a quick breather. Theres something about a change of season that ignites some excitement within me and restores my energy levels! Also its a time of reflection on the past season and whats about to come. So I ask you today, what are you most excited for this fall season? I know I’m excited for more home reno projects, more DIY projects and family time at The Morganston House. To me Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons but also one of the quickest – so I plan to enjoy every minute!

This fall you can find me chatting about all things Fall Decor from my front porch to my thanksgiving tablescape. You can see how I styled last years front porch here, I’m so excited for those pumpkin patches to fill up this year! One thing I always strive for with my decorating is keeping my costs low but my quality high. I promise that I have some really exciting DIY tips & tricks up my sleeve to take your decor from season to season in a simple way.  So stay tuned for some fun posts coming up this month. Im also excited to continue to grow my business and start getting prepared for the Christmas rush – yes if you can believe it October 1st is when I start planning! Maybe even earlier this year! I had a wonderful Wedding season with my KC Brides therefore I must invest some time back into that stream of my business to ensure I’m prepped and ready for 2019 season. Phew! That doesn’t sound like much right?

Im also going to be practicing some intentful (..yep I’m making up words now?) moments of rest this fall season. Ive been going full tilt and sometimes I feel like precious time is flying by. So I’m striving to take some moments this month to enjoy that Pumpkin Spice Latte or read a book or just sit on my front porch and soak up the evening sun. I hope if you feel yourself in a busy season you can give yourself the time to rest too, my friend. Heck I’m giving you permission right now!

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! Lets give September the warm welcome it deserves!

Talk soon, Sam Xx
