Are you a new year resolution maker?? I’ve never really been one. But for some reason at the end of the year as we welcomed in 2019.. I couldn’t help but feel this pull to make these resolutions & share them with you all! That way I feel more accountable – right?? So.. let’s get into the good stuff & hopefully this gets you inspired to make some resolutions yourself!

First off, I think I have to rephrase myself here. The word ‘Resolution’ isn’t doing it for me… I think ‘goals’ is so much better!! Being an ex athlete, business owner & employee I can’t help but respond better to the word ‘goals’! So here we go.. goal number 1. Drink more water. I know that sounds crazy.. but seriously! Water is this magical liquid that I do not drink enough. Coffee is basically my go to drink.. so I think I need to step up the water:coffee ratio!! I bet you’re nodding your head too on this one!! And number 2.. is a bit heavier. My biggest goal for 2019 is to be in the now. I know it sounds simple.. but I am always thinking 7 steps ahead of myself. Never really being still both physically and mentally. With that being said.. that doesn’t mean I’m ‘slowing down’ in my business or blog or life in general.. because believe me- 2019 is going to be the best year yet on those fronts. I’m just going to try & take those moments to just be.. just be in the now. Whether that’s Sunday afternoons or when I’m drinking my morning coffee… just try to shut off that crazy brain of mine for just even 5 minutes to just be.

I can’t help but feel so excited for 2019. A new year is always a breath of fresh air & makes these cold January days a little better. As the holidays come to an end I feel ready for a reset & I’m feeling really recharged. I hope you are too my friend!
