The big man is almost here!! Who is ready for Christmas?? I am starting to finally feel ready..well I’m forgetting all the food prep I still have to do.. but my table & home is ready for our guests!! I wanted to share our Christmas Table with you this year as inspiration for your own home. I really went natural, simple & classic this year with my dining room table.

I absolutely still love these Value Village candlesticks I found that I transformed back in the fall for my Fall tablescape. They are so versatile and really look sharp. I made a fresh garland of pine and cedar, along with placing some pinecones to give a rustic touch. All assembled on a rough cut of burlap that I frayed into a table runner! The perfect centre piece for my Christmas setting. My plates (from IKEA) are all assembled on silver charges, with our silverware and glasses. I used my very own Christmas Cracker tutorial found here for my plate toppers and name tags! As well as some ivory dinner napkins I picked up from Homesense. These are so hard to find.. so if youre in need of some ivory dinner napkins and you see them in your travels – pick them up! Trust me! They also go perfect with my chair & covers from IKEA.

Now the real show stopper is the table itself. When I came to my dad with a dream of having a big rustic table in the centre of this gigantic room to host our families for years to come I had no idea it could turn out so beautifully. ALL made and handcrafted by my dad. What a treasure that I will hold in my home for many years to come!

I hope this little tablescape brings you some joy & inspiration today my friend! If I don’t chat with you before the big day – a great big Merry Christmas to you and your family! May your hearts and bellies be full going into the new year. I so appreciate your love, kindness and support as I share my blog with you! It means the world to me and I am so excited to continue to inspire you daily. Happy New Year!
