You all know how much I love a good painting project. I knew I wanted some additional storage in our dining room (storage you couldn’t really see!) so I began hunting for a cheap and cheerful old wood hutch. After about a month of searching, I finally found my dream hutch to paint! A score for only $100!
I decided I wanted to try out Home Hardware’s Cabniet and Furniture Paint on this guy vs my usual Fusion Mineral Paint. I was SO impressed by the coverage! I used ‘Here Comes the Bride’ for my white, and ‘My Favourite Sweater’ for the gray accents on the back of the cabinet wall and the top piece of the bottom half of the hutch. I wanted to add in some contrast!
I will for sure be using this paint again when I tackle my next big project! Until then, here’s a peek into the finished product! I also gave it a bit of distressing too!
